TEN BOOKS ON ARCHITECTURE was an exhibition that I collaborated on with Helena Kukuľová. It took place in Brno’s gallery Umakart and was curated by Karin Písaříková.

In the exhibition we wanted to discuss the architect and his contemporary situation in relation to the history and the various roles that architects tackled. We looked at the canonical book by Vitruvius TEN BOOKS ON ARCHITECTRE and looked for ancient view about the architect. To our surprise we found more about building and measurments than normative and rigid architecture as we know it today. With this in mind both of us tried to (re)imagine possible roles for the architect. Be it builder, critical practitioner or carpenter.
